New Bathroom

Ok, so I'm going to redo my kids bathroom. I haven't been able to find any ideas on what to do....until today! I'm so excited! Thanks to my great little sister-in-law, Jessie, who has a plethera of great websites on her blog. (Thanks Jessie!)And the reason for the post is so that I don't chicken out. I will post pictures up when I'm finished...hopefully this weekend (if I can talk Jayk in to taking care of the kids all day Saturday). Wish me luck!

Fishing

Grandma Nana teaching the kids that the worms
weren't "disgusting" as theire mother had said
they were.

We headed up the mountain last weekend for a afternoon of fishing. The kids were really excited about it; I, on the other hand, would be perfectly ok to not go. But we ended up having a great time and caught a lot of fish. None of them were big enough to keep, but the kids had fun reeling them in.

First day of Preschool

Shelbe really enjoys going to school. She likes the socializing, but still enjoys learning new things. She missed the deadline for Kindergarten, but I think that's ok. Another year of Preschool can't hurt, just get her all that much more ready for next year...and let's mommy get a little more prepared, too.

Shelbe turns 5!

Silly faces!

A few of her friends that came.

Simmin' with her daddy

Yet another cupcake...Mommy can't turn
her back for a second!

This birthday for me has been really hard, but also really great! I can't believe how big she is getting. She told me the other day that she didn't need her "blankie" anymore...her exact words were, "Mom, it's ok, I don't think 5 year olds need a blankie anymore." I wanted to cry! How can she be getting so big so quickly. I can still remember sitting in her room at night when she was a baby and rocking her to sleep. She's such a good girl with a HUGE personality. She makes us laugh all the time! I love her so much and hope she knows that.

Brody turns 3!

Grandma Shellie got this for him...he didn't
even want to touch it at first! It was
priceless!
Uncle Scott was trying to be helpful
and put Grason to sleep...it wasn't working so well.

All the cousins and Hallie

He was so excited to get his bike!
Absolutely loves it!
Grandpa Tim thought it was oh so cute to
give Grason a cupcake. I told him
we'd be over later so he could sit up with
him all night!

Can't believe he is already three years old! Oh how time flies!

Bat Mobile

Western Petroleum had the Bat mobile at their place a couple of weeks ago promoting some new thing they're doing. I know, I should have understood a little more about what we were there for, but the kids only wanted to see the car. That's the main reason we were there. Brody was all amazed by the car...Cat woman, however, made all of them a little uneasy.
