Family Pictures 2010

Halloween 2010

Shelbe got to go perform at the Care Center with her
preschool class. These are two of her friends from there.

(This one makes me laugh...where does she come up with these?!)

Had a great time this year. It was a lot more fun, I think, since the kids are getting older and understand more of what's happening. They got enough candy to last a lifetime, but it might just have to dissappear here in the next day or so. Shelbe was really fun to watch enjoy the season. She's got such a big personality on her...she keeps us laughing! As you can see by all the poses she did she really loved her costume.

Carvin' Pumpkins

Brody had a hard time getting his shirt off...silly guy!
Shelbe was completly disgusted by the whole thing

Jayk concentrating

Grason was just havin' a good ole time

Shelbe's finished product

I HATE carving pumpkins, but the kids finally talked us into doing it for FHE last monday. We actually had a pretty good time. Jayk had to take little breaks here and there to go blow the sprinkler system out, but carved a pretty mean Jack-o-lantern if you ask me!

Me and two of the kiddies!

We try every year to go to the Bluebell Corn Maze. It's fun to see the kids enjoy such simple things as running through corn stalks, feeding the goats, or riding in "train carts" pulled by the 4-wheeler.

I wish...

Brody has this new thing with wishing for everything. He wishes on dandelions, and stars every night. He found this one the other day while we were out doing yard work. He picked it up and without missing a beat said,"I wiiiisssshhh for a motorcycle!" He's been asking for one for Christmas. I don't know if Santa will be quite that nice this year, he may just have to wait a few more years for that one.

Finished at last!

(A towel bar that the kids can reach to hang up their own towels)

Well, I was finished with the bathroom project a while ago, but my computer has been in the shop for about two weeks now. I finally got it back today and HAVE to get caught up on everything. I am really excited about how the bathroom turned out. I don't know if you can tell, but I painted it an "aloe green" and just added a couple little things. All-in-all a great day project.
